About Almonte
Also, known as “The Friendly Town”, Almonte is a scenic mill town on the Mississippi River. It is located 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa (and much closer to areas like Kanata). The area features a 19th Century main street that provides hours of exploring and fun! Once known as a retirement community, Almonte has evolved to include an ever-expanding arts and culture scene and is also a great place to raise a family!
