Andy McAfee

Trust, hard work and knowledge of the market are the foundations of my real estate relationships through my seven years as a Realtor. I believe that these qualities are also central to the objectives of West Ottawa Real Estate and I feel privileged to be invited to be a part of their team. The priorities of my clients are first and foremost and I do all that I can to protect their interests. This commitment, as well as my years of experience in business and sales, has helped me to see success in the industry.

I have a business background with a B. Comm. honours degree and was hired from university by Honeywell Information Systems and participated in their National Sales Training Program. I remained in IT sales with Honeywell and subsequently Wang until I co-founded FastLane Technologies and later co-founded NCI, continuing until we sold to one of the companies we represented, CommVault Systems of Oceanport NJ. For several years I managed their Canadian sales and marketing operations until semi-retiring in 2003. What followed was volunteering with numerous organizations and coaching dozens of hockey and baseball teams.

When considering re-entering the workforce, my interest and passion for real estate was a natural choice. My sales and entrepreneurial experience have been a huge benefit to preparation, strategizing and negotiating within the real estate transaction process. I began in 2016 with Royal Lepage Team Realty in Kanata (close to 5 years) and Tusker’s Realty (close to 2 years) and have represented clients with transactions from Arnprior to Cumberland to Smiths Falls and in-between (often Kanata!) and have been recognized on several occasions with awards for sales achievements.
